The outercity buses have daily itineraries from and to the country’s largest cities: Athens, Korinthos, Patra, Agrinio, Thessaloniki, Larisa, Ioannina etc. They also serve passengers from intermediary stations.

With your own means of transportation

You will go towards the harbor of Igoumenitsa where the connection with Kerkyra takes place by ferryboats, which have large capacity for vehicles and passengers. For Igoumenitsa you can follow the road axises below:

Athens – Igoumenitsa: 500 klms (about a 9 hour journey)
Thessaloniki – Igoumenitsa: 500 klms (about a 9 hour journey)
Patra – Igoumenitsa: 349 klms (about a 5 hour journey)

Coastal Travel

By boat:

From the harbor of Igoumenitsa there are time schedules all day. In the summer period there are frequent routes all day. In the summer there are departures every 15 minutes. It takers about hour and 45 minutes. Patra’s harbor is connected coastally with various harbors in Italy (Bari, Brindisi, Ancona, Venecia and others) with an intermediate station being Kerkyra’s port.
